If possible, upload the file so that I can take a look at it. I had added .htaccess to the root, comments, and "admin" folder to force php 5. These .htaccess files just had: AddType x-mapp-php5 .php They are all removed now (so there may be the php 5 issue at play) Hopefully this is helpful. Thanks! |

RE: error when testing example.php
No, I meant the .htaccess files that are included in the script. The other ones which force php5 could remain.
I'm giving you three guesses... |

RE: error when testing example.php
Glad I could help
![]() Be sure to check out the other stuff around here. Note to Steven: There seems to be something wrong with most servers or the .htaccess files, since removing the .htaccess files usually solve a lot of these issues. Personally, it works perfectly on my own local server that I set up myself, but as soon as I uploaded it, it stopped working. Any ideas? P.S. You have PMs disabled, chrislas, so I can't reply. Just to let you know, Steven made the script. I'm giving you three guesses... |

It does seem to be a regular issue. I think it's the 'FilesMatch' part, rather than the '-ExecCGI' part, which causes this problem. I'll comment it out in the next version and then recommend enabling it as a security step. Have you completed the interview? |
